PRIVACY POLICY

Your footage, connected accounts, and publishing data—explained clearly.

This policy explains what ZoneClip processes across the website, desktop app, cloud-assisted analysis, and optional social publishing integrations, plus how to disconnect an account or request deletion.

Effective and last updated: August 2, 2026Operator: ZoneClip
01

Original footage is local-first.

Original high-quality source footage and final local renders stay on your device unless you choose a workflow that uploads them.

02

Social access is permission-based.

ZoneClip uses OAuth permissions only for the account connection, publishing action, and analytics features you choose.

03

You can disconnect and delete.

Disconnect a destination in the app to remove its credentials and stop future jobs, or use our public data-deletion process.

Information We Collect

Account and authentication information

When you create or access a ZoneClip account, we process identifiers such as your email address, user ID, authentication provider, session metadata, membership status, and account settings. Password authentication, email confirmation, and password reset flows may be handled by Supabase or another authentication provider.

Video analysis information

ZoneClip is designed so your original high-quality source footage and final local render remain on your device unless you choose to upload, publish, or use a cloud-assisted workflow. Depending on your selected workflow, some processing may occur locally on your device and some features may require transmission of selected analysis data to ZoneClip servers. Cloud-assisted analysis may use an analysis proxy, including sampled frames, reduced-resolution clips, audio extracts, transcripts, scene metadata, candidate highlights, edit plans, job status, error details, and diagnostics needed to complete the workflow.

Gameplay and third-party content

ZoneClip processes gameplay recordings, game assets visible in those recordings, creator audio, captions, and related media only to provide user-requested editing, analysis, rendering, publishing, support, safety, and deletion features. ZoneClip does not claim ownership of games, characters, trademarks, platform content, or other third-party materials contained in user content.

Connected social account information

When you connect a platform, we may receive the account or channel ID, display name, username, avatar, account type, granted permissions, token expiration, and access or refresh tokens supplied through OAuth. ZoneClip does not ask for or store your social-platform password.

Publishing and performance information

If you use publishing features, we process the destination account, selected video, title, caption, tags, visibility and audience settings, scheduled time, platform-specific declarations, upload progress, post ID, post URL, processing status, errors, and available performance metrics such as views, reach, likes, comments, shares, saves, and watch time.

Billing and subscription information

If you use an optional paid service, we may process membership status, payment provider, subscription and transaction identifiers, billing period, amount, currency, cancellation status, refund status, and entitlements. The payment provider processes payment credentials; ZoneClip does not receive or store your full card number.

Website and product analytics

We may collect referral pages, device category, browser information, approximate interaction events, client platform, app version, feature usage, job timing, error codes, and operational diagnostics. If enabled in the desktop app, ZoneClip may upload previous-day diagnostic log files to help debug reliability issues. These logs are associated with your account or a device installation identifier, and ZoneClip attempts to remove local file paths, file names, URLs, object keys, and similar identifiers before upload. Cookies, local storage, or similar technologies may be used for essential sessions, preferences, security, and measurement. Where required, non-essential analytics are used only after the applicable choice or consent.

How We Use Information

Provide and secure ZoneClip

We use information to authenticate users, maintain accounts, process video analysis jobs, generate clip plans, render or export results, synchronize job status, prevent abuse, debug failures, provide support, and protect the service.

Connect accounts and carry out publishing instructions

We use connected-account data to show the account you authorized, obtain current publishing options, upload the content you selected, execute a publish-now or scheduled instruction, show processing status, and retrieve permitted performance data. We do not use a connected account to publish unrelated content or act outside the instruction you created.

Send service emails and optional updates

We use email addresses for verification, login, password reset, security, billing, policy, and service notices. We may send product updates or promotional messages where permitted. Non-transactional messages include an unsubscribe mechanism or comparable opt-out process.

Improve ZoneClip

We use diagnostics, feedback, and aggregated usage patterns to improve reliability, prioritize supported games, evaluate workflow quality, and understand which features need improvement.

Providers and Sharing

Infrastructure, authentication, and email providers

We may use cloud infrastructure, object storage, databases, logging, deployment, authentication, and email providers—including Google Cloud or Firebase, Supabase, and Amazon SES—to operate ZoneClip. These providers process data on our behalf under their applicable agreements.

Payment providers

Stripe and PayPal may provide hosted checkout, subscription administration, payment confirmation, and eligible refunds. Their handling of payment and financial information is governed by their own privacy terms.

AI, ASR, and media processing providers

When you select a cloud-assisted workflow, ZoneClip may send analysis proxies, frames, audio extracts, transcripts, prompts, and related metadata to AI, speech-recognition, and media-processing providers solely to perform the requested workflow. ZoneClip does not use uploaded content to train general-purpose AI models, and external providers may process submitted data under their own terms and privacy commitments.

Connected publishing platforms

We send content and publishing settings to the platform you select and receive account, post-status, and permitted analytics data from that platform. Each platform processes information under its own privacy policy and terms.

No sale or cross-context behavioral advertising

We do not sell personal information or use connected-platform data for advertising. We disclose information only as needed to provide ZoneClip, follow your direction, process transactions, comply with law, or protect rights, safety, and security.

Connected Platform APIs

OAuth connections, not platform passwords

Platform connections use the provider's authorization flow. The consent screen identifies the requested permissions, and you can decline or revoke access. YouTube credentials are stored locally by the ZoneClip desktop app. When TikTok, Instagram, or other cloud publishing integrations are enabled, their credentials are encrypted at rest on ZoneClip systems so scheduled jobs can run at the time you selected.

YouTube uploadhttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload

Upload a video you selected and apply the title, description, category, visibility, and scheduled publishing settings you confirmed.

YouTube read-onlyhttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly

Identify the channel authorized during connection and display publishing status and permitted performance information.

YouTube manage over SSLhttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.force-ssl

Where requested by the current connection flow, update publishing metadata or cancel a scheduled publish by keeping the video private. ZoneClip does not intentionally manage unrelated YouTube content.

TikTok Content Posting API

When TikTok publishing is enabled and you connect it, ZoneClip may request user.info.basic to show the creator you authorized, video.publish to post the video you confirmed, and video.list to show permitted status and performance information. Before posting, ZoneClip presents the destination creator, content preview, editable caption, available privacy choices, interaction settings, and applicable music or commercial-content declarations. ZoneClip submits the post only after your express confirmation or under a schedule you explicitly created.

TikTok user data deletion requests can be submitted through https://zoneclip.ai/data-deletion or by emailing official@zoneclip.ai.

Instagram and Meta APIs

When Instagram publishing is enabled and you connect an eligible professional account, ZoneClip may receive its ID, username, name, profile image, account type, and granted permissions. Depending on the feature you choose, permissions may include instagram_business_basic, instagram_business_content_publish, and instagram_business_manage_insights. We use them to identify the selected destination, create and publish the Reel or video you approved, show processing status, and retrieve permitted insights. Meta processes information under the Meta Privacy Policy.

Publishing Control

You choose the instruction

ZoneClip does not silently publish from your library. You choose the source clip, destination account, caption or title, visibility and audience settings, applicable declarations, and whether to publish now or at a scheduled time. A scheduled post is an automated execution of the instruction you created—not permission for ZoneClip to choose future content on your behalf.

You can cancel or disconnect

Before a queued job begins, you can cancel it where the product provides that control. Disconnecting an account removes its stored credentials and prevents new publishing or analytics requests through that connection. Existing posts are not deleted from the destination platform; manage them directly on that platform.

Limited platform-data use

Connected-platform data is used only for user-facing features described here. We do not use it for advertising, credit or eligibility decisions, surveillance, or sale. Human access is limited to security, support, legal compliance, or operations where necessary and authorized.

Email and Forms

Transactional and optional messages

Account, security, billing, service, and policy messages may be required to provide ZoneClip. Product announcements, tips, or promotional messages include an unsubscribe process where required.

Product feedback, game requests, and support

A submitted form may include your email, role, game, platform, recording source, requested events, optional sample link, referral path, submission time, and support details. We use this information to respond, prioritize product coverage, and support the requested workflow.

Retention and Deletion

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, subject to platform requirements and limited legal, security, accounting, dispute, and backup needs.

OAuth credentialsYouTube credentials are stored locally by the desktop app. Credentials for supported cloud publishing integrations are encrypted at rest on ZoneClip systems. They are removed when the account is disconnected; future scheduled actions for that account are stopped or blocked.
YouTube Authorized DataWhen you disconnect through ZoneClip or submit a verified deletion request, eligible stored YouTube Authorized Data is deleted as soon as practical and within 7 days. If external revocation is detected or authorization can no longer be verified, it is deleted within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.
Publishing mediaA cloud copy created for a platform upload is retained only as needed to transfer, retry, verify, or troubleshoot that publishing request, then deleted under the configured cleanup process. Uploaded content, intermediate files, and generated assets may be deleted after a reasonable retention period unless a shorter workflow-specific deletion period applies. Posts already delivered remain on the destination platform until you manage them there.
Publishing records and metricsTask settings, platform post IDs, status, errors, and permitted metrics are kept while needed to show publishing history and analytics. You may request deletion; platform-derived data is refreshed or deleted within the limits required by the platform.
Analysis proxies and job artifactsKept only as long as needed to complete, retry, troubleshoot, or support the clipping workflow, subject to configured cleanup and any security or abuse-prevention hold.
Account, billing, and security recordsKept while your account or subscription is active. After a verified deletion request, eligible data is deleted or de-identified within 30 days; limited records may remain longer where required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, security, or backup integrity.
Analytics and email recordsKept according to configured analytics retention settings, then deleted or aggregated. Marketing preferences and suppression records may be retained to honor an unsubscribe request.
Diagnostic logsDesktop diagnostic logs are kept only as long as needed for reliability analysis, support, security, and abuse prevention, then deleted or aggregated under configured retention rules.

Step-by-step instructions are available on the ZoneClip data deletion page.

Security and Transfers

Security measures

We use measures designed to protect information, including HTTPS, access controls, encryption for cloud-stored OAuth credentials, credential separation, and operational logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International processing

ZoneClip and its providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use contractual and other safeguards intended to support lawful transfers.

Your Choices and Rights

Access, correction, export, and deletion

You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account, subject to identity verification and legal limits. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy authority.

Disconnect platform access

Use Social accounts in the ZoneClip desktop app to disconnect a destination. You may also revoke access from the provider's account settings, including the Google third-party access page. Revoking access does not delete content already published.

Email and analytics choices

You can unsubscribe from non-transactional email using the process in the message. You can turn off optional product analytics and diagnostic log sharing in the desktop app settings. Browser or device controls may limit cookies and similar technologies, although essential account, security, and service logs or storage may still be required.

Children

ZoneClip is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Users must also meet the minimum age and account requirements of any connected platform. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information to us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as ZoneClip changes. For material changes, we will update the date above and provide additional notice through the website, app, or email where appropriate.
